How many riders will be wearing the MJ kit versus the Hendersonville kit? Since we will all be earning points under the same team for TBRA, I'm not sure if we want to all have the same color jersey's or not. Plus having one color would make it easier for people who joined the team mid-season or those that needed to buy a new kit if they tear there's up. That being said I know we've always been blue but the red looks pretty cool. Not sure about the camo though...it seems like something that will be hard to tell how good it will really look until you see it in person. It could be really cool. I wonder if anyone else has seen a similar print in person and could provide insight into what it looked like.

I'm not really feeling the camo but I really like the traditional blue. Looks really good. Just my two cents.

-Blue is good
-Camo, not so much

Yea I'm not much on the camo and I like the blue only. Everyone knows BC is blue. Although I like the red it just isn't BC. I really think we need to find a way to still get the cities and state on there. We ride and race all over the country and I love getting the looks and questions when we are far off and they are like wow you guys are from Hendersonville, TN really??? Also it just goes to help someone recognize the shop on the jersey and know where it is at and that is what it is all about advertising for the shop. Bikers Choice could be anywhere unless you spell it out. I would like to see something like
The Bikers Choice
The Right Choice in Cycling
Hendersonville & Mount Juliet, TN

Or something along those lines.

Also don't forget about the number one spot on the kits the butt sponsor logo :). Since we'll be out front everyone will see it all the time.

More blue instead of black and no camo, my two cents

I am for the blue. I don't think the camo will fly. Can the black be made with a carbon fiber like print?

(I added a photo)

Thanks Guys!! Its your jersey, and your choice. I just want to do you proud.
Carbon Fiber out of the black would look cool. My thoughts with the red, was to create some internal competition. Purely for fun and positive growth. I am fairly sure that we would get the points for TBRA as one club. Its done in road racing regularly. Billy lives in Old Hickory, he could be a red pro. I dont know for sure, just throwing out ideas and seeing what sticks. And I could put MJ under the red and H'vlle under the Blue. I think we are a big enough and cool enough team that we could do this. Matt in blue and Sean W in red, see where I am going.. If

I dont like the camo either. I have mixed feeling about the two colors. I understand where you're going with the idea, but feel like it becomes a division of the team and Blue has always been Bikers Choice.

I actually love the idea of BC blue and BC red. Some sense of Competition and loyalty to your local shop. HOWEVER... I am so proud all of you are not in favour of camo!! haha. bleh ;)

The blue and red both look good! Out on the camo.

I'd rock the red for one kit and blue as a second kit

I like the blue and the carbon pattern for the black sounds pretty cool.

What about making some requirement that you have to "earn" a red jersey (of course we would still buy it but you have to earn the right to buy a red kit). maybe a podium finish, turning pro, catting up, or some other benchmark. That would make the red jersey more coveted and might push others to earn one. Of course this might make it more difficult to order kits so it might have to be based on the previous year. Just a thought any other ideas?

I like the new picture that was posted. I would still like to see the city names on there somewhere, or at the very least the state.

Getting closer....what about a throw back design? That would be sweet!

joshlewis21 said...

So when is the design decision going to be made? I just don't want it to hold up actually getting the kits in. Having a perfect design doesn't mean much if we don't get the kits until April or May.

Hopefully tomorrow. Then we are 8 weeks out. I mailed them the deposit last week. The good news is we picked up another sponsor this week:) Cody ramthun is back in board with packaging solutions.

If this image link works.... Here is a throwback idea. I agree with getting the city and state on there which I will do asap.

My idea with this kit was to have it stand out AND be throwback at the same time. Thoughts...

The last picture posted (solid blue) is definitely the winner. It looks awesome.

I am OK with the current solid blue version (even though I will miss the black). But I don't like the checkerboard shorts from that link posted. Just my thoughts.
